Ph.D. preferred. 2) Machine Learning expert- Research engineer/scientist, particularly in the areas of text classification, NLP, IR, AI and data mining. Knowledge of Bayesian nets, Suppport Vector Machines, Neural nets, statistical methods, feature selection. Candidate must have experience designing, building, and tuning real-life systems using a variety of machine learning algorithms, and must understands trade-offs between them, and be able to direct other engineers in development of machine learning systems. Ph.D. preferred. 3) Linux Systems Engineer -- Linux/C++/Apache high-performance systems, such as web crawlers, distributed online databases. This is primarily a Linux developer position, for someone with indepth knowledge and interest in Linux-based systems. 4) Linux system administrator - Site Support Systems Engineer, Linux system administration, including network administration, Apache/Tomcat, systems programming, RPMs., monitoring and troubleshooting tools for large server farms, build automation. 5) Knowledge Engineering Support Systems Engineer -- Windows & Linux system administration, scripts, SQL / database administration, development of knowledge engineering tools - command-line and web-based, data processing applications, automated software and data QA (this is internal to the R&D group, because we have a separate QA dept. different from this position), XML/XSLT, C++, Java and/or C#/ASP.NET, Perl, great interest in producing and managing search engine software and content in multiple languages, taking pride in ensuring the highest quality results to the end-users. Candidate will also participate in R&D projects and will have a chance to learn advanced IR and NLP concepts. 6) Web Applications Engineer -- Also Java/Linux based web development and system programmers experience in high-traffic web sites. Beneficial: experience developing web application front-ends, as well as server-side.
