Космический карандаш
Легенда гласит что типа американцы потратили дофига бабок на ручку, а умные русские используют карандаш :)
RE:
American astronauts originally used pencils, too, but broken leads floating around the cabin were a potential hazard, and the pencils themselves were highly flammable. At the time of the first manned space flight, industrialist Paul Fisher was already working on a ball-point pen that could write upside-down, underwater, and in extreme cold or heat. He developed the "Space Pen" independently and gave it to NASA for testing. The Fisher Space Pen was adopted by both NASA and the Soviet space program, but neither invested any money in its development.
