St. Norbert College International Student Awards

(Up to a maximum of US $9,500 per year)

St. Norbert College (near Green Bay, WI) is a highly regarded 4-year,
Catholic, liberal arts & sciences university of 2000 students.
In order to internationalize its campus and increase its enrollment of
well-qualified international students, St. Norbert College offers
merit-based tuition awards to highly qualified foreign students who
apply to study in a degree program at St. Norbert College. Award
decisions are made after application documents are received and the
applicant's file is complete. Awards are renewable each year on
condition the student remains in good academic standing. No separate
application is required for award consideration.

We encourage applications from well-qualified students from all
nations. To apply for admission the following documents are required:

- A completed international application including the "Declaration of
Finances."

- Your high school and university (if any) academic records with
English translation.

- One of the following test scores to show us your English language
ability:
* TOEFL paper-based: 550
* TOEFL computer-based: 213
* TOEFL: iBT: 80
* IELTS: 6.5

Students who do not have a TOEFL score of 550/213/80 will receive
conditional admission to a degree program: conditional upon completing
our ESL program or obtaining the requisite TOEFL score.

The Dean of Enrollment reviews completed applications on a rolling
basis. In general, students offered direct admission to St. Norbert
College possess an acceptable TOEFL score and a "B" average in a
challenging high school curriculum.

While cumulative GPA alone determines the award level, the College
will consider demonstrated financial need and special achievements in
leadership, music, art, sports, and community service when determining
specific award amounts with each level. Applicants will be notified in
the admission acceptance letters if they have been selected to receive
an award. Once a scholarship offer has been officially offered and
accepted by the student, the award cannot be increased.
